At 13 weeks pregnant we were given the news that we had 1 in 10 chance of our little one being born with Trisomy 21; Down syndrome. Knowing nothing about the condition, it’s safe to say our heads were in a bit of a muddle.

Fast forward 2.5 years and our little girl continues to be an inspiration to us every single day. She brightens up every room she enters with her gorgeous smile and wave. Dispelling misconceptions about Down syndrome one person at a time 💪🏻

DSUK (Positive about Down syndrome) has been an amazing support network for us, particularly in the early days of parenthood when we didn’t have a clue what to expect! With makaton classes, toilet training or just general parenting advice PADS have been an incredible support for us on this amazing journey… and now we have a chance to give a little something back.

My best friend Sam and myself are jumping for this great cause in March 25, we would love your support! Despite the day jobs we are both petrified of heights, which will make this even more memorable, as we scream like girls from fifteen thousand feet.
