As you may know my familys worlds changed at the beginning of the year. My grandma, Gill, had a stroke and sadly passed away. Grandma spent her last days in St Gemmas hospice being given the best care you could ask for. All the staff we met couldn't do enough for you. Making us all feel at home during our visits (even giving Sapph jelly and ice cream! Which they didnt need to do!)

Myself and my sister Abbie, have set ourselves a challenge to walk 100 miles each over the month of August. With some walks joined by a toddler and a dog or 2 I'm sure.

Grandma wouldn't want us to just sit about being sad, she loved life and was very active. So I feel the best way to remember her is go make memory's and walk in her name and help other people get the care grandma got.

Any sponsorship will go directly to St Gemmas to help them continue to provide the wonderful care they do. I'd like to think she'd be proud of us for wanting to help. She was very loving and caring to familyand friends. So it seems right to share some of her love like this.
