Hello everyone,

I am running in the London Landmarks Half Marathon on 6th April 2025 to raise money for the Sarcoma UK charity in memory of a wonderful family friend, Charlie, who was diagnosed with sarcoma in 2020 and very sadly died in 2023. He was a wonderful and inspirational person who loved life, so in his honour, I want to raise money for this great charity that supported him and his family throughout his diagnosis and treatment, and continues to do amazing work.

Sarcoma is a very rare soft tissue cancer that can appear anywhere in the body and everyday 15 people are diagnosed with it in the UK; that’s about 5,300 people a year. Sarcoma UK is a national charity that focuses solely on sarcoma cancer. It provides support to people affected by the disease, funding research to better understand and treat sarcoma whilst campaigning for improved treatment standards and patient care across all types of sarcoma cancers.
