I had the pleasure to meet Jonathan at an AAC event last summer, to say he took my breath away is an understatement. He really was the most amazing, inspiring, kindest young man that you could hope to meet, I was really blown away by him and his incredible achievements. During our conversation, I mentioned that I wanted to experience skydiving, Jonathan giggled and said that he would love to do it.

His family did some investigating and booked Indoor Skydiving for Jonathan’s birthday earlier this year. Sadly, having to rebook 3 times due to him being poorly, Jonathan and his family emailed me to say that Jonathan would like me to have his indoor skydiving ticket (I of course cried).

I have always been that type of person who wants to give back, so in memory of the wonderful Jonathan, I would love to raise some money to go towards his charity. It’s something that I really want to do for him.

Teach Us Too has grown from one child’s desire to change the experiences of others in a similar position to him and is now impacting the lives of many learners countrywide. Teach Us Too dedicated to improving opportunities for children with significant disabilities to access high quality, effective literacy education. His charity believes that it is the right of every child to be taught to read and write, and they will work tirelessly in their efforts to advocate for this to happen within school settings.
