**UPDATE 25/07/2025** I will now be taking part in the Liverpool Airport runway 5k on November 22nd :)

***UPDATE*** Unfortunately in April I fractured my Tibia in 3 places. As a result of this my leg was put in a cast and I was unable to get around without using crutches - meaning that unfortunately the Chester half marathon is off the cards. I am absolutely devastated to withdraw my place after raising so much money for Alder Hey, however all being well, I will be running the Manchester half in October instead. Two weeks ago (9th March) I ran my first ever 10k, at the Chester 10k…And now, somehow, I’ve talked myself into running the Chester Half Marathon…just 8 weeks away!!!!

In 2022, I tragically lost my good friend in a road traffic accident. Jay had been raising money for Alder Hey, but unfortunately never got the chance to complete his fundraising.

So, in Jay’s memory, I will be running for Alder Hey, picking up where he left off.

This will be the furthest I’ve ever run, but I like challenge and knowing it’s for such a special cause will keep me going!
