Story
Me and Nic are supporting St Catherine's Hospice by walking the Yorkshire Three Peaks on Saturday 5th September. Mum has worked as a staff nurse on the inpatient unit and in the community as a clinical nurse specialist. This has provided many years of experience supporting patients and their loved ones through difficult and challenging times. Across 16 years, she appreciates how valuable the support is and how crucial it is to keep providing support in the future for those who need it.
We're taking on the iconic Yorkshire Three Peaks – Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough – in a single day, covering 24 miles and 5,200 feet of ascent. It’s a challenge that promises breathtaking views and the chance to make a real difference.
St Catherine's is one of 9 hospices in the collaboration for this event as part of Lancashire & South Cumbria's hospices together.
