2025 - the year I run my first half marathon ✨.

I’m running the Edinburgh Half Marathon to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust Ward B7 at the Beatson Cancer Centre in Glasgow, a charity that is very close to my families heart.

In 2019, my sister Yasmine was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Since then she has fought every day to fight this disease, too many to count rounds of chemo, a stem cell transplant in 2023, successful now car-T Cell Therapy and further rounds of chemotherapy.

The money raised will go towards helping the ward to continue to be able to best support families and patients. Our family are so grateful for the support and care the staff gave us during my sister Yasi’s time on the ward. We want to make sure extra funding can help them to continue giving their invaluable care and support to families going through the same thing.

Any funding raised will go towards helping the ward to buy a recliner to go next to each bed for parents, and other items to support those on the ward.

My training will begin in February, and I’m looking forward to the challenges it will bring 🏃🏼‍♀️.
