I've been at this wonderful little theatre since 2006 and it is the centre of a warm vibrant community. The Playhouse means everyone can enjoy the arts, not only those with money in their pockets.

Tragically, it is now in danger of closing. As part of our £80k for 80 years fundraiser we are having a 12 hour monologue-athon. I have volunteered to take part doing monologues, poems and readings throughout these 12 hours and would be grateful for any sponsorship people may be able to throw my way. Even better if you come and take a seat to cheer or heckle - I will throw in limericks for audience members!
