I am participating in the Manchester Half Marathon 2024, fundraising for the excellent Christie Charity, which continues to provide crucial cancer care.

Currently, there are an estimated 3 million people in the UK living with Cancer; this is expected to rise to 5.3 million by 2040. It is now more critical than ever to fight cancer head-on.

I decided to enter the half Marathon and start raising money in the spirit of two family friends who have recently been diagnosed with cancer. Every donation makes a difference in the treatment and care that The Christie can provide to their patients and families. Not only that, but the donations help raise money for a wide range of projects and initiatives within the hospital.
