Elodie loves trying new things, so when I told her about the junior triathlon I’d seen (and explained what a triathlon was!), she was immediately up for it. I told her she could also try and raise some money for a charity whilst she was at it, and she said she’d like to raise money for “the guy who’s got one eye covered”, which after further probing revealed the guy was in fact a bear, and so it turns out she meant Children In Need. She watched Children In Need last year and was really touched by the stories she saw on there, and clearly they’ve stuck with her, and I agree it’s a great cause. They’d appreciate donations big or small.

She can’t wait to take part and raise a bit of money as she does.
