In our current political climate, it is more important than ever to raise awareness and overcome racist rhetoric in the media, which increasingly brands these people as dangerous. In fact, the divisions forming in society are far more dangerous than asylum seekers themselves. Countering such violent narratives, which appear to have become ingrained in an increasing proportion of the British psyche, is an effort essential to upholding societal values where humility, respect and moral human decency prevail.

Any money raised will go towards the fight for a fairer future for refugees and people seeking safety.
