Elsie, Lily and myself are running the London Parks half marathon on October 12 in aid of Dementia UK. A charity close to our hearts as their grandmother/my Mum has been on her dementia journey for the last six years.

As a family we've witnessed how a vibrant and highly active person can be impacted by this awful disease. Thankfully Mum has been unaware of her condition for some years now and we are fortunate to be supported by some wonderful carers at a local home. But when Mum was first diagnosed Dementia UK helped my Dad try to come to terms with what was now ahead of them and what to plan for next.
