Story
Thank you for considering a donation for workbooks at the Early Learning School, Entebbe!
Elsie and Esther are visiting the School this March, where there are 110 children enrolled in kindergarten, grouped into KG1, KG2, and KG3, with ages ranging from approximately 3 to 6 years old.
Elsie and Esther are fundraising so that the children there can receive "Prime Learners’ Workbooks”. For many of the learners, these workbooks are the only personal learning materials they own, making them incredibly meaningful and empowering.
The workbooks are specifically designed for KG1, KG2, and KG3. They are age-appropriate, structured, and progressive, allowing children to build skills step by step as they move up through the school. Each child requires five workbooks per term, carefully aligned to their learning level. The workbooks support key areas such as:
• Early reading and writing skills
• Numbers and basic mathematics
• Fine motor development (through tracing, colouring, and drawing)
Teachers also report that the workbooks have many additional advantages, such as increased creativity, confidence, and classroom engagement. The children are excited to participate in lessons and proud to show their work!
For the teachers themselves, the workbooks allow them to present a clear learning structure, assess progress more easily and provide better individual support.
Thank you again for choosing to enable these workbooks to reach the hands of children. Any support is massively appreciated and valued! From the minute the children open their new books, they will be writing their first letters, counting with confidence, and taking pride in their learning!
(Your donation will be processed through "Kickstart Coffee", a well -respected Ugandan charity, which funds the Entebbe Early Learning School; further information above.) The goal of £1200 will cover all the workbooks required for the number of children attending.
Many thanks,
Elsie, Esther, and Entebbe Early Learning School
