As you know I love a bit of cold water, I’m part mermaid 🧜🏻‍♀️ part seal 🦭, so I’m swimming 10k during the month of June 2025 for Level Water - a charity that helps teach children with disabilities to swim. I’ll be swimming outdoors, mainly at the West Country water park, wearing a variety of rainbow swimming costumes for Pride month. Feel free to join me!

Growing up, me & my siblings were taught to swim as babies so we could enjoy water slides, surfing & a whole feast of water based activities together. We were also taught life saving skills, a healthy respect for the water & the power of the ocean.

I believe all small children should be given the opportunity to learn to swim & enjoy the water safely. It’s an essential life skill & disability should not be a barrier to swimming or water based activities.
