This week, as I prepare to leave Waterloo Uncovered after an incredibly rewarding 1.5 years, I'm lacing up my running shoes for one final contribution: taking on the Waterloo Uncovered 10K to raise money for this amazing charity. During my time here, I’ve seen first-hand the profound impact this organisation has on veterans and serving personnel—offering them not just archaeological opportunities, but also vital support for recovery, wellbeing, and community. It’s been a privilege to be part of a team that truly changes lives, and I couldn’t think of a better way to say goodbye than by running to support a cause I deeply believe in.
