I'm running the Hackney Half Marathon on Sunday 19th May to raise money for Against Breast Cancer.

When my Mum told me she'd been diagnosed with breast cancer last year I wanted to do something productive about it, so I signed up to run a half marathon...and now I have to do it.

Breast cancer research improves care and seeks to produce better outcomes for patients. This work is especially important given that, due to a lack of governmental funding, NHS cancer patients are facing increasing delays in diagnosis and treatment.

Against Breast Cancer is an Oxford based charity which funds research into earlier diagnosis as well as new treatments and long-term survival. Donations of any size are hugely appreciated.
