Ember has been interested in helping and knowing more about people who are homeless for a long time. We often talk to people on the streets and she has given food and money.

She asked if we could go and help at a soup kitchen this Christmas but there are limited options and what I could find required over 18s only. So we looked at other options and she decided she wanted to take part in Walk for Home.

Walk for Home is the winter walking event that tackles homelessness. Ember can choose a date between the 1-8 December and walk whatever distance she chooses.

She’s going to do it on the 2nd December and she’s decided to do 5k but will aim for more.

I know it’s a hard time of year to ask for money but if you can spare a pound or 2 it would be greatly appreciated
