I’m running the 2025 TCS London Marathon!!!!!!!

And I could not be prouder to share that I am running for #TeamEmbrace.

Embrace Child Victims of Crime is such an incredible charity, dedicated to helping children, young people, and their family members affected by crime. Embrace offers a range of support with four main focuses: practical support, specialist support, emotional support and personal well-being. Embrace believes in the importance for children and young people and their families to understand their feelings and overcome the trauma they have been through, to heel their pain and help rebuild their lives.

Embrace helps families affected by all crimes, including: domestic abuse, sexual abuse, exploitation, violence and other serious crime and the death of a close family member due to crime. Embrace offers specialist emotional or unique tailored support, practical help such as food/ clothing/ toys/ presents, online support as well as opportunities for creating happy memories, including short breaks or days out.

Embrace CVOC is such an important charity to me and is very close to my heart.

Having been abused as a child, Embrace was the only organisation who supported me during difficult times. I was so lucky to be invited to their Florida trip in 2009, and had the most amazing, once in a lifetime holiday (pics in header).

It means everything to me to be running for Embrace and raising money for their extraordinary work, knowing that my fundraiser will benefit so many children, young people and their families. It’s my turn to give back and I can’t wait!
