The CJD Support Network offers advice, information and support for patients, carers and professionals involved in any form of suspected or confirmed CJD. We offer emotional and practical support; disseminate new information as research develops and offer advice for those who may be deemed at risk.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you might be aware my auntie Debbie passed away to a disease called CJD last year. My auntie Debbie was very spontaneous and now my family all want to follow in her footsteps and raise funds to find a cure for CJD.

On October 22nd 2023 I will be bungee jumping 300ft in Windsor In honour of my auntie Debbie and hopefully I will over come my extreme fear of heights.

Support me to find a cure for Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD). There is currently no cure but every day scientists and doctors are getting closer to finding a treatment. We aim to raise funds to support the use of an antibody drug developed for the treatment of patients with CJD. The first patient was treated at UCLH in October 2018.
