Story
On 26th of August, 2026 devastating floods and landslides struck the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli regions of Nepal, destroying homes and leaving families without shelter, food, or basic necessities. HELP NEPAL Network (HeNN), working alongside local organizations already responding on the ground, is coordinating emergency relief for these communities.
We are raising funds to provide immediate essentials — shelter materials, food, clean water, and medical supplies — to displaced families. In line with lessons from past relief efforts, every contribution will be tracked against a clear breakdown of cost per family and materials distributed, and we will publish regular updates showing exactly how funds are used and how many families are reached, coordinating with local organisations and government-approved distribution channels to ensure aid reaches those most in need rather than duplicating efforts.
Why Help Nepal Network
HELP NEPAL Network (HeNN) is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation founded on a simple idea: every Nepali, at home and abroad, gives at least one dollar a month to Nepal. For over two decades, that idea has built schools, health centres and libraries across the country — and it has put HeNN on the ground fast after every major disaster Nepal has faced.
We are not flying in. We are already there. HeNN's Nepal team is coordinating directly with the local partner organisations in the affected districts, who have been calling us since the first hours of this disaster. That means your donation reaches the specific communities that local responders have identified as most in need — not a general fund, and not an overhead-heavy pipeline.
HeNN is run by volunteers. Chapter members give their time for free. Our commitment is that the overwhelming majority of what you give goes to relief, and we will report back publicly on exactly where it went.
