Story
We are fundraising for Living Streets' Emergency Appeal to ensure we can continue our vital campaign work to see an end to pavement parking, greater road safety for all, and cleaner, greener, streets for those most affected.
On Monday 26 May Living Streets Chair of Trustees Dame Jane Roberts, and staff members Ellie, Sandra, and Rosie, will be putting on our walking shoes to take on the challenge of a 20km circular route spanning 5 different green spaces across South London. We can’t wait to put ourselves – and the streets of London – to the test as we raise money to support our efforts to make our streets accessible for all walkers and wheelers.
We will be walking alongside members of our South London Somali Men’s, and South London Somali Women’s groups, who will be undertaking their annual walk to promote wellbeing and connect their community.
We’re looking forward to getting outside and experiencing the magic of walking for ourselves throughout our 20km route. Your sponsorship will ensure the future of our 95 years of campaigning to make our streets more liveable for people from all walks of life, so that the magic of walking and wheeling is accessible to all.
