Story
Back in April 2024 I underwent major spinal surgery, having 22 screws placed in my spine and ultimately needed to relearn how to walk. Being the highly competitive and *sometimes rather stubborn* individual I am, I decided I wanted to throw myself head-first into some incredible rehabilitation projects over the next few months.
Meningitis Research Foundation is a charity that my family have been heavily involved with for as long as I can remember. Their pioneering research and work supporting families is something I have witnessed first-hand, admire, and I thought that running the 2025 London Marathon (eek!) for them would be a great way to show my appreciation, raise some money for a well deserving cause and, of course, give me a great target to structure my rehab!
