Story
This October, I’ll be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon – 13.1 miles through London, But I’m not just running for the challenge. I’m running for someone who inspires me every single day: my daughter.
She lives with Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy (FSHD) – a progressive muscle-wasting condition that affects her strength and daily life. Despite the challenges, she faces each day with courage, resilience, and a smile that reminds me what real strength looks like.
I'm incredibly proud of her – more than words can say – and this run is my way of standing beside her and showing the world just how much she means to me.
Every step I take will be for her, and for others living with FSHD.
I’m raising funds to support research, care, and awareness for this condition. Your donation, no matter how small, can make a big difference – helping us move closer to better treatments, and one day, a cure.
Please support me if you can. And thank you for standing with us.
