A key focus for my business (I'm a financial planner, if you didn't know already) is to work with families who have disabled children. It is an area of complex financial planning for many reasons and it's an area that not many professionals specialise in. For both personal and professional reasons, it's an area I'm tremendously passionate about.

In my efforts to help SEND families, I was introduced to the wonderful Little Hiccups - Little Hiccups is an award-winning, Leeds-based, parent-led charity supporting families with children who have disabilities or additional needs.

I had the privilege of meeting with Linsay from Little Hiccups recently and I wanted to do more to help them with funding.

I'm hoping to raise at least £1,000 to help them, who in turn help families who have disabled children or those with additional needs.

My brother, Rhys Murray, sadly passed away at 11 years old and was severely physically and mentally disabled during his short life.

I will be running in his memory and also to raise as much as possible for families like my own.
