I've committed to raise money to support the Rise Above Foundation by registering as a Charity Bib for this event. 

Rise Above Foundation is a Massachusetts nonprofit that helps children in foster care access enriching activities and experiences—like sports teams, music lessons, camps, and important school milestones.

This cause is deeply personal for me. As a child, sports and extracurricular activities were a refuge. They gave me a sense of belonging, safety, and direction during formative years, and they taught me values that have stayed with me into adulthood—self-confidence, courage, kindness, strength, and leadership. I know firsthand how powerful these opportunities can be, and how much they can shape a young person’s sense of self and future.

By choosing a charity bib, I committed to raising $1,000 to support Rise Above’s work. Every dollar raised helps remove financial barriers so children in Massachusetts foster care can participate in the same activities as their peers—experiences that build confidence, connection, and joy, especially for kids who have already faced so much disruption.

I have until June 14, 2026, to reach my goal. Once I do, I'll be eligible to run!
