Story
I’m taking on the Great West Run Half Marathon to raise money for Devon in Sight, a charity that supports people living with sight loss across Devon.
Through my work as an Optometrist in Specsavers, I see first hand the impact that sight loss can have on people’s lives. It’s not just about vision, it can affect independence, confidence, mental health, and daily activities that many of us take for granted.
Devon in Sight provides vital support, advice, and resources to help people adapt, stay independent, and feel less alone. The work they do genuinely makes a difference to so many people and families.
Running a half marathon is a big personal challenge for me, but knowing I’m doing it for such a meaningful cause will keep me going every step of the way.
If you’re able to donate, I would be so grateful. Every contribution will help support people living with sight loss.
Thank you so much for your support!
