Story

On 1st June 2024 our lives changed forever loosing our amazing mum Ana to Cancer.

The last few months have been torturous navigating the arrangements but most of all just missing her. We both now feel like we need to channel our focus into something good so we are committing to running 25 x 10ks in 2025 and starting our training

We have already signed up to Burghley 7 in March 2025 and the Brighton 10k in April 2025 and will be adding more dates into the calendar

Alongside that we will be doing 10k routes on Strava to add to our tally and hope to finish this mission with completing double the distance with the Great Eastern Run (half marathan) in Oct 2025

This will be a page which is open throughout the year and we will provide updates on our socials on how our training and runs are going

Cancer is something that affects everyone whether you have had it, which Oli has experienced himself and got loving care at Kings Lynn hospital, or directly affected by a family member loosing their battle or going through treatment. We hope however much we can raise can help someone maybe even save someone

Kings Lynn Hospital lovingly cared for Ana and did so much to help her through the dark days and I know she would be very proud of us doing this

Thank you for reading my story.

With your support, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital can enhance and extend the quality of care, treatment, services and facilities for their patients. Donations also benefit their research, staff training and education.
