I am absolutely not a runner. In fact, until April this year, I'd never even run 10km. But after finishing my first 10K race, I decided to set myself a much bigger challenge: to run a half marathon before my 30th birthday in December – and to do it for charity.
I've chosen to support a cause very close to my heart. I've spent the last 12 years working with children, and over that time, I've witnessed some incredibly difficult and heartbreaking situations. I believe every child deserves to grow up in a safe, loving, and supportive environment. Sadly, that’s not the reality for far too many.
That’s why I’m running for The Children’s Family Trust.
Training has been tough (did I mention I’m not a runner?), but I’m doing this because I believe every step, every blister, every early morning run is worth it if it helps even one child have a better start in life.
If you’re able to support me, whether it’s with a donation or a share, I’d be incredibly grateful.
Thank you so much – your support means the world to me!
