Story
For the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of working at Princess Alice Hospice, a place where compassion is something you see and feel every single day. Over the years I’ve supported their Compassionate Neighbour scheme, community engagement and fundraising and events. I even had the joy of establishing our very first hospice community café (Compassionate Cafes). Being part of all this has shown me the impact of hospice care up close, and just how passionate our teams are about making every family feel valued, supported and cared for.
Even though I’m moving on from my role at the hospice, I’m still determined to support the incredible work they do - which is why I’ll be running the London Marathon in 2027. I’d be so grateful for any donation you feel able to give, no matter how small. It really does make a difference.
A little more about the hospice:
Princess Alice Hospice provides a comprehensive range of services that respond to the individual needs of patients and their families, so that they can live life to the full, create memories, share special moments and when the time comes, support them through, before and after the death of a loved one.
It costs us £12.3 million each year to provide free, high quality specialist end of life care to tens of thousands of people with life threatening illnesses. We rely on wonderful supporters like you to help us to generate thousands of pounds through participating in events like TSC London Marathon.
