Hello, I’m Emily, a tattooist based in Bristol, and I’m taking on an the intense challenge of trekking 100km across the Sahara Desert. I’ll be pushing myself to the very limit in an environment that’s as tough as it gets... But I've made it through tougher!

In November 2023, my world changed when I was diagnosed with cancer. Since then, I’ve faced chemo, radio and had two major surgeries head on, including a double mastectomy. And, for my two year 'cancerversary', I’m taking on a whole new challenge... trekking across the unforgiving Sahara!

This won’t be a walk in the park. I’m awful in the heat, kinda terrified of sand (yes really) and after everything my body has been through, this will push me to my limits. But that’s exactly why I’m doing it—to prove to myself that I can, and to help CoppaFeel! continue their vital work in raising awareness of early breast cancer detection for other ladies like me ❤️
