Story
In January 2022, I unexpectedly lost one of my best friends, Jess, to Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP). Jess was a ray of pure sunshine, she was there for us through absolutely everything and her smile and contagious laugh were always enough to brighten anyone's day.
On 18th May 2025, I will be participating in the Manchester 10k to raise money for SUDEP Action in Jess's memory. Although most people with epilepsy live long and healthy lives, epilepsy is one of the top-ten causes of early death.
SUDEP Action is committed to improving the lives of those affected by epilepsy by providing support, raising awareness, and funding critical research into preventing SUDEP. Their efforts are essential in ensuring that people living with epilepsy are better informed about the risks and have access to life-saving resources.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a meaningful impact in helping SUDEP Action continue its vital work. Together, we can help make sure that no one has to suffer the heartbreak of losing a loved one to SUDEP.
Please donate today and help us make a difference. Your support is truly appreciated!
Thank you.
