The charity is starting to hit abit harder now Astra only has around 18 months left until she retired and can become a sofa princess. So I thought I’d do my part and suffer round 13.1 miles, and raise a few extra pennies in the process.

Cumbria Police Dog Benevolent Fund is a registered charity brought together to support Cumbria's retired police dog owners should their retired service dog need veterinary treatment. Many of our dogs retire due to old age, injury or in some cases costly illnesses. Insurance can be expensive, and we offer help with some of the day-to-day costs.
