In June 2022, my Auntie Sarah passed away after a long and brave battle with ovarian cancer. The amazing care Severn Hospice gave her during her treatment and in her final days was beyond anything anyone could ask for.

As a way of saying thank you for all the support they gave both her and the family - I will be running the London Marathon 2026! I know that there will be times during training which will be tough but knowing that she will be looking down on me every step of the way will get me through.

Severn Hospice provide specialist care and emotional support for families in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales living with an incurable illness. All the care is provided for free but not without a cost - they have to raise £2 for everyone £3 spent.
