On 27 June 2026 I am taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge in support of St Gemma's Hospice. I worked at St Gemma's for four years and was privileged to work with some wonderful colleagues, including others I will be walking with, and also one who is very sadly no longer with us, the incredible Hannah Corne. Hannah was a wonderful colleague and friend; she died in January of this year and is hugely missed. St Gemma's was there to care for Hannah when she needed them, and to support her family; it is an incredible charity that supports 100s of people in Leeds every year with expert and compassionate palliative and end-of-life care.

I am also walking in memory of my dad, Graham, who was cared for by St Gemma's when he died in 2017. He loved hill walking, as did Hannah, so this seems like a fitting way to remember them both 💜💚
