I’m running the London Marathon for Anthony Nolan and here’s why it means so much to me….

When my brother Aaron was a teenager, he was diagnosed with a rare form of leukaemia. He was one of the youngest people ever to be diagnosed with his specific type, and finding a stem cell donor match seemed almost impossible.

But thanks to the incredible work of charities like Anthony Nolan and the care he received at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Aaron found a donor and he beat cancer 💪.

Now, years later, I’m proud to be running the London Marathon in for a charity so close to my family. As a teacher, I talk to children every day about resilience, courage, and setting goals – even when they seem impossible. Running the London marathon is my way of living that lesson. It’s hard, yes – but it’s nothing compared to the battles people face every day.💚

By running this race, I hope to raise awareness for Anthony Nolan’s life-saving work and inspire the next generation to believe in the power of determination, kindness, and hope.
