This year I am taking on not one but two challenges! July 5th I will complete the furthest Triathlon distance to date. 1.9km Swim, 90km bike ride finishing with a 21km run. A week later I’ll be testing myself with a Spartan Race Beast- 30 obstacles along another 21km running route.

The pain experienced from these events will be incomparable to the grief and loss of losing a baby. I want to raise money to reduce the likelihood of anyone experiencing the trauma and suffering.

Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, operates across the UK: supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby; working in partnership with health professionals to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care; and promoting improvements in practice and funding research that could help to reduce the loss of babies’ lives.
