Story
On the 1st June 2025, my beautiful Mum, Tracy, passed away after a nearly 4 year battle with bowel cancer. It turned her and our families life upside down but we have Lingen Davies to thank for providing her with the treatment that she needed to fight for as long as she did. She went once every 2 weeks to the Lingen Davies Centre for chemotherapy and was always met with the smiling faces of all the staff who make the treatment process much more bearable, even enjoyable at times. So to help raise vital funds for the Lingen Davies Cancer Fund, I have decided to take part in their "Sunny's Skydive"! This is something I've always wanted to do and I'm even happier than I can do it for an incredible cause. This charity is amazing and without these funds, they would not be able to deliver life saving treatment to so many, so please consider donating :).In their own words:
"Lingen Davies Cancer Fund enhance local cancer services across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, and Mid Wales. We fund a wide range of equipment and technology for the Lingen Davies Cancer Centre at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital as well commissioning a variety of wellbeing programmes to help people live well with, and beyond cancer. We also deliver a cancer awareness service, highlighting the importance of early diagnosis and attending your cancer screenings."
