I’ve decided to raise money for a charity close to my heart. Without charities like these I would not be here today!

I’m alive to be a mother to my daughter thanks to therapy and advice I received for free.

I was told along time ago I would have to learn to live with my mental health issues when I was diagnosed with C-PTSD. And have to adapt my life, I have struggled with this leading to depression and self abuse.

I also served in the British Army for 7 years along with my 2 brothers and we all have lost or know people that this illness effects deeply.

I’m lucky to have a small group of people who have unconditionally supported me. And route for me.

I don’t believe mental health is an excuse for anything but it’s a forever battle to live with.

I decided I need to get myself out of a little hole recently and what better way then to challenge myself while making a small difference and helping someone else too.

I’ve decided to Walk/Hike 111 miles within the month of May!

Anyone who wants to join me is always welcome on a walk.

The 111 miles will NOT include my daily steps.

I also will be bringing my daughter Dakota (6) along for some of it and I will track her miles!

My story is not a sad one, I choose to be happy and grateful I’m here for my little family and great life.
