Story
Thames Bridges Trek for The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust
My story:
Thank you so much for visiting my page. This cause is incredibly close to my heart. I am raising money for The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust because of the profound impact an ectopic pregnancy had on my life.
Experiencing an ectopic pregnancy is a unique kind of grief. It involves the sudden loss of a baby, a life-threatening medical emergency, and an intense emotional toll. During one of the darkest times of my life, the resources, information, and community provided by this charity were an absolute lifeline.
Our journey and my family:
Before facing this loss, my husband and I were already blessed with our beautiful son and his love helped us through the darkest days. Today, our hearts are incredibly full as we have since welcomed our gorgeous baby girl - our rainbow baby. She is our constant reminder of hope and healing after the storm.
As I watch my children grow, I will never forget the journey and strength it took to get here. I want to use my experience to support other women and families who are still waiting for their rainbow, or navigating the painful aftermath of a loss.
Why I need your help:
Ectopic pregnancies affect roughly 1 in 80 pregnancies, yet it remains a topic rarely spoken about openly. I want to change that. I am taking on the Thames Bridges Trek (25km walk) on the 12th September 2026 to raise both vital funds and awareness.
Your impact:
Every single pound donated helps ensure that grieving families don't have to face this physical and emotional trauma alone and more lives are protected through earlier diagnosis.
* £10 can help provide info leaflets to a hospital early pregnancy unit.
* £25 can fund a crucial support call for someone in active grief.
Please donate whatever you can. Your support means the absolute world to me and my family. Thank you!
