Fresh fundraise for the British Heart Foundation in 2025

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
At Fresh, we’re passionate about making a difference - not just in our communities but in the lives of those affected by heart and circulatory diseases. That’s why we’re proud to support the British Heart Foundation (BHF) as our main charity partner for 2025.
The BHF funds vital research to help prevent, diagnose, and treat heart diseases, stroke, vascular dementia, and diabetes. With your support, we can contribute to groundbreaking medical advancements and lifesaving treatments.
- Charity Month in March – the BHF is our main charity partner, and we’ll be running fundraising events across our properties.
- London Marathon 2025 – two of our incredible Fresh colleagues are taking on the challenge to raise money for BHF! Find out more about Emily and Rob's stories below.
- #PackforGood Campaign – last year Fresh residents donated over 5,500 bags of preloved items, potentially raising over £116,000 for BHF’s research! We hope to beat that this year.
We’re committed to making a lasting impact, but we can’t do it without you. Every donation, big or small, helps fund research that saves lives.
Hi, I’m Rob Crawford, and in 2025, I’m thrilled to be running the London Marathon for the British Heart Foundation (BHF). I’ve been running for many years now, and the London Marathon has always been the ultimate race on my bucket list. It’s the one that every runner dreams of, and I’m so excited to finally take on this incredible challenge. Running through the streets of London with thousands of others, all striving towards a common goal, is something truly special. What makes this race even more meaningful is the opportunity to raise awareness and funds for the British Heart Foundation, a cause that’s very worthy. Fresh have given me this great opportunity, and will be looking to raise funds across the company.
The BHF does amazing work in funding life-saving research, supporting those affected by heart disease, and helping to prevent future heart-related conditions. Heart disease affects so many people, and by running for this wonderful charity, I’m proud to be part of something bigger than myself. Knowing that my efforts will contribute to such a worthy cause makes every training run and every mile of the marathon worth it. It’s a chance to push my limits while making a real difference in the fight against heart disease. I hope to inspire others to join in the effort and raise even more awareness about this important cause.
Hi everyone,
I am beyond thrilled to share that I’ll be running the London Marathon 2025, representing the British Heart Foundation (BHF) This has been a long time coming—I’ve tried my luck in the marathon ballot for the last 10 years, and now, I finally have the opportunity to take part in one of the world’s most iconic races, with a big thank you to FRESH!
The BHF has always held a special place in my heart (pun intended!). My journey with this incredible charity began when I was just 17, completing the Cardiff Half Marathon (my first half marathon) to raise funds for their life-saving work. Supporting BHF back then gave me a deep appreciation for everything they do—funding cutting-edge research, supporting families affected by heart conditions, and ultimately fighting to beat heartbreak forever. Now, at this huge milestone, I’ll be running 26.2 miles, but more importantly, I’ll be running to help those whose lives are affected by heart and circulatory diseases. Every donation—no matter how small—will make a massive difference to their vital work.
This marathon is not just a personal dream come true, but also a chance to honour those we’ve lost, those still fighting, and the amazing advancements yet to come through research. So please, if you can, donate to our fundraising page and help Rob and I SMASH our target for the British Heart Foundation. Let’s do this together and help make a real difference in the fight against heart disease.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️
