We will be travelling to Cambodia to carry out out voluntary essential dental treatment to those in desperate need. The funds raised will enable us to travel to Cambodia, and will cover accommodation costs during our time on the volunteer programme.

We will travel with a team of volunteers, and will work with a number of Cambodian dentists to provide dental care in schools, remote communities, slum areas, and prisons. For some of these people, we will be the first dental professionals they have ever seen.

Dentaid…

DentAid provides dental care and oral health advice for vulnerable adults and children from under-served communities. Their fully equipped mobile dental units travel the UK, providing outreach dental clinics for people who struggle or have no access to an NHS dentist.

Overseas, Dentaid supports its dental partners by providing portable equipment, funding outreach projects and supporting oral health programmes in communities where access to dental care very limited.

So far, to fundraise, we have organised two Charity Ball Evenings and raised £4,600! Emily also carried out the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge in under 12 hours! We are now only a few hundred pounds off our target so any donation no matter how small would be so greatly appreciated.
