EmLu Heath is raising money for Tackle Prostate Cancer

Lake District Ultra Challenge 2026 · 6 June 2026 to 7 June 2026 ·

Tackle coordinates peer support groups for people living with or affected by prostate cancer. Our groups enable people affected by prostate cancer to meet with others who know exactly what they are going through, reducing isolation, providing support, a listening ear and a sense of hope.

Story

On the 6th June, we (Lucy and Emily) are taking on a 100KM walking challenge to raise money for Tackle Prostate Cancer.

This cause is deeply personal to us. Our dad was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer, and the charity helped him access his initial test something we’ll always be incredibly grateful for. Early testing and awareness can make all the difference, and we want to help more families get the same support.

We’ll be walking 100KM continuously together to raise money, awareness, and support for men affected by prostate cancer.

Every donation, share, and word of encouragement means so much. Thank you for helping us take steps toward earlier detection and better support for others facing this diagnosis 💙
