Ten years ago I completed the Midnight Walk with my Mum. I never thought that ten years later I would be walking in memory of her. She sadly passed away last year after bravely fighting cancer for three years.

St Luke’s supported Mum in her final few months, helping with all her medical needs and making sure she had everything she needed at home — only ever a phone call away.

Even after Mum passed away, St Luke’s support didn’t stop - offering bereavement support that I hadn’t realised how much I needed.

I truly believe that without St Luke’s, the whole experience could have been very different. Completing this walk and raising money is the least I can do to help a charity that means so much to so many.
