The Royal Parks charity protects and provides free access to eight of London’s most beautiful parks. 85p in every £1 spent caring for the parks, their 170,000 trees and 7,000 species of wildlife comes from the people and organisations who support the charity.

Story

Better sleep. Better minds.

1 in 4 of us will face a mental health problem every year. But with waiting lists growing, more people are stuck in a cycle of sleepless nights while they seek support.

That’s why Dreams has partnered with Mind and SAMH: to raise vital funds so that more people can get the right mental health support at the right time.

Together, we want to help people feel more rested, supported, and better able to cope with whatever tomorrow brings.

A good night’s sleep can’t solve everything. But it can help us feel calm, refreshed and more able to reach out for support. Your bed can offer comfort when things feel heavy – a place to pause, breathe, and let the day go.

Because sleep isn’t just switching off. It’s a chance for our body to recover and our mind to reset. Over time, it can lead to better mental wellbeing.

Through the partnership, we’re working to:

• Support more people to sleep well and feel rested

• Reach more people with mental health support and wellbeing tools

• Raise vital funds to keep life-changing services running like Mind’s peer support network and helplines, and SAMH’s community-based support.

We believe everyone should be able to rest a little easier and get the right mental health support when they need it most.

I do support another charity called Alec angels and support adult and children who have cancer. And I jog a mile to help raise money to support adult and children to put a smile on their faces to show them that we here for them.

It would be mean a lot to me to do the marathon and it will be my first time event and first time achievement in dreams and myself.
