I hope this message finds you all in great spirits. I'm Emma Brute, and I have an exciting challenge ahead that I'd like to share with you. Since November 2022, I've been honored to serve as a trustee for Cyfannol Women's Aid, an incredible charity dedicated to helping women and families affected by domestic abuse. To further support this vital cause, I've decided to take on the Cardiff Half Marathon on October 1st, 2023. It's not just a race; it's a run for hope, healing, and change.

About Cyfannol Women's Aid: Cyfannol Women's Aid is more than just an organisation; it's a lifeline for those who have faced the horrors of domestic abuse. They provide shelter, counseling, advocacy, and support for survivors, helping them rebuild their lives and break free from the cycle of violence. Cyfannol is relentless in their mission to create a safer world for all, and I am immensely proud to be a part of their journey.

Why I'm Running: My journey with Cyfannol Women's Aid has shown me the real impact of domestic abuse on individuals and families. It's a cause that's close to my heart, and I've witnessed the strength and resilience of survivors who find hope and support through Cyfannol's services. Running the Cardiff Half Marathon is my way of raising awareness and much-needed funds to keep their crucial work going.

A donation of £5 could help provide a new mobile phone sim card to a woman fleeing abuse.

A generous contribution of £20 can provide a refuge welcome package to someone fleeing abuse.

£30 could help provide transport for a family coming to one of Cyfannol's refuges.

Donating £50 could help provide a play therapy session for a child or young person who has experienced abuse.

My fundraising goal is £500. Every penny raised will directly support Cyfannol Women's Aid in their mission to end domestic abuse and empower survivors.
