Story
In April 2026, I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for a special cause.
During April 22, I was diagnosed with Leukaemia, and I vividly remember reading and re-reading the helpful booklets provided by Blood Cancer UK. Hearing the words "we think you have Leukaemia..." is a moment I will never forget.
I consider myself lucky; despite facing a stroke and pneumonia, my body was strong enough to endure chemotherapy. Today, I am grateful to be in remission, and this is my chance to give something back to a charity that helped me during my darkest days.
I am raising funds for Blood Cancer UK with a target of £500 as I prepare for this half marathon on April 12, 2026. Your support can help ensure that others receive the vital information and assistance they need when facing blood cancer. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by this disease.
