In 2027, I’ll be returning to Nakuru, Kenya as a volunteer with Derby County Community Trust’s Rams in Kenya programme. After experiencing this incredible project first-hand, I knew I wanted to go back.

My first trip showed me the reality of life for so many children and families, but it also showed me the huge difference that volunteers can make. From supporting lessons and leading sports activities to helping improve school environments, every volunteer plays a part in creating opportunities for children who deserve the very best.

Returning means I can build on the relationships I made, use the experience I’ve already gained, and make an even greater impact. I understand the schools, the community and the challenges they face, allowing me to contribute from day one while continuing to learn from the inspiring people I meet.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help fund my place on the trip and support this life-changing initiative. Your generosity won’t just help me return to Kenya—it will help provide children with access to education, encouragement and opportunities that can have a lasting impact.

Thank you for believing in this journey and for helping me make a difference once again.
