Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

One in three people in the UK knows someone affected by a brain tumour. This disease is indiscriminate; it can affect anyone at any age. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease since records began in 2002.

Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this. It is the only national charity focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. Help fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.

Brian is now 9 years post craniotomy and we are very grateful. However having a brain tumour can come with long term effects from radiotherapy and chemotherapy. For Brian these include memory loss, mobility issues and fatigue. Despite the issues we still try to make the most of life .

Many brain tumour diagnoses come out of the blue with no previous symptoms. They change lives forever and we need more research to find out why they happen and how to better treat them . Great changes have been made in other cancers but brain tumours are the forgotten cause . Please help me change this
