Story
I’m joining the Masicorp team from Streatham and Clapham High School to fundraise for Masicorp. Masicorp do invaluable work to keep children in school in South Africa, despite many challenges. Any support you can give for this brilliant cause (and any moral support for my little run) is much appreciated. Read on for more information about Masicorp:
Be Part of the Movement: Run for Education in South Africa
At Masicorp, we believe education is the key to lasting change — a powerful tool to uplift communities and transform lives. For over 25 years, we’ve worked in Masiphumelele, a township near Cape Town, South Africa, where access to quality education is limited but deeply needed.
From early childhood development and literacy programs for primary learners, to youth support in high school and adult skills training, our work touches the lives of nearly 4,000 people each year. Every programme is designed to unlock opportunity, build confidence, and empower individuals to break the cycle of poverty.
This year, we’re calling on runners with heart to join Team Masi at the Battersea Half Marathon on 18 October 2025 — and help us raise vital funds to continue this mission.
When you run for Masicorp, you become part of a global family that believes every child deserves the right to learn, grow, and succeed.
