I’m running the Tokyo Marathon in support of MSPCA-Angell because I deeply believe in their mission to protect vulnerable animals and advance a more humane and compassionate society. Through animal rescue, veterinary care, adoption services, and advocacy for stronger animal welfare protections, MSPCA-Angell has a meaningful and lasting impact on both animals and the broader community.

This cause is especially personal to me because I have witnessed that impact firsthand through the adoption of two cats, Boots and Faye, through Angell. Their work exemplifies not only compassionate care for individual animals, but also a broader commitment to animal welfare, public education, and systemic advocacy. Running this marathon is an opportunity for me to support an organization whose mission has directly shaped my life in such a positive way.
